This work depicts the massive salt lake, Kaarkurutintya, far West of Kintore on the edge of the Great Sandy Desert. This is the home country and the custodial lands of the Narputta NANGALA JUGADAI. The rounded shapes depict the rolling sandhills of the country and the myriad dots reflect the mungari or bush tucker which grows in the region after the annual rains.
