"I used to see these camels at Santa Teresa out east. I used to ride on them. There was one old man named Laurie Butcher, who was a whitefella but he could speak Eastern Arrernte. My father and Laurie used ride these camels out bush and go hunting together."

This is a soft sculpture made with recycled woollen blankets. The blankets are dyed using local Arrernte plants and rusty bits of metal. The blankets are then used as the base material for the sculpture.
