"The big fat perentie (goanna) lived at Simpsons Gap, you know that hill at Simpsons Gap, that’s the fat perentie. That skinny perentie lived at Honeymoon Gap. They travelled together north, up to Utopia. They travelled there for ceremony. We can’t talk about that ceremony here, but we can tell you that they travelled all the way there, the fat one and the skinny one."

This is a soft sculpture made with recycled woollen blankets. The blankets are dyed using local Arrernte plants and rusty bits of metal. The blankets are then used as the base material for the sculpture.
