"I keep making birds. If you look into the bush you can see that they are everywhere. If you look into the art room, then you will also see birds everywhere. They all look so beautiful in the art room."

This is a soft sculpture made with recycled woollen blankets. The blankets are dyed using local Arrernte plants and rusty bits of metal. The blankets are then used as the base material for the sculpture.
