This work shows Timal the birthplace of Graham’s father- Frank Gordon located north of Kiwirrikurra community. The story goes that his mother found Frank in this location. Frank Gordon grew up in this country learning the location of the waterholes of this estuary system. Timal is a permanent water source in this region, even in ’hard’ water times (drought).
