This work depicts the Kalin Kalimpa shrub, which is the artist’s personal law or tjukurpa. Entwined with the shrub are the roots of their bush onion, which grows in profusion in the desert country.

This plant is used as a sweetener and if its leaves are left in water, a type of cordial is produced.
