Pauline has painted some of her grandfather’s (Marrukurru) Tjukurrpa (dreaming) named Poyarri which is located southeast of Lake Hazlet.

Marrukurru was a great traveller and walked all over region. The story is how he crawled on his knees with another initiate, from his camp to Poyarri water hole and produced a pattern on the sand as part of the Tingarri (Native cat) ceremonial rite.
