Sandy Brumby paints his own country Walytjatjara, north of Kalka. This painting depicts his version of the Seven Sisters Dreaming which he has authority over. The dominant shapes in the painting represent the mai (or bush food) found at this site. The small figure in the bottom left corner represents the male figure in the story, who chases the seven sisters around the land and eventually marries one.
