Patju has depicted the significant site of Kupitji situated north east of traditional Spinifex Lands and close to the present day community of Watarru. It is at this site where three men taking the form of malu (kangaroo), Kalaya (emu) and Kipara (bush turkey) throw a kali (boomerang).
