Walartu is a little lake, South of Patjarr area. People camp out there to go hunting for rabbits and ngirntaka (perentie) on holidays. There are lots of camels roaming around that sandhill (tali) country. There is too much sandhill there, making it hard to walk around.

The name of the rockhole in the lake is Wirrwil, but it has salty water. In the early days when people drank the water, they got an upset stomach.
