This is my country Ilpinya. Apu tjuta (rocky mountains) munu karu tjuta angkupayi (and all the creeks are flowing). In the Tjukurpa (creation story) for this place the women from the dreamtime are cleaning out the rock holes. There is an quandong tree that has lost all its leaves. The fruit is still yellow. We are waiting for the fruit to turn red when it will be lovely and sweet.

There are two snake women and one snake man in this land. Ngayuku ngura wirunya (my country is beautiful).
