Kangkuru munu malanypa (the elder sister is travelling with her younger sister). Puntilanguru mapitja ngura kutjupa Docker Riverla, Northern Territory. Palampa ngura. (The women went from Punti rockhole north to Docker River. Docker River is her home).
At Punu Wara the sisters sat and made a wana (wooden digging stick) with a sharp stone. They didn’t have axes then. The sisters took the wana to Irrunytju where they threw in from the top of a hill and it skidded to make Wana Wani rock hole. Then they went to Putingka Inmaku pakalnyi (where they got up and had ceremony). They used the wana, holding it and swinging it from side to side, shuffling and chanting. After the Inma the sisters rested for a while at Punti. Tjukula pulka ( a really large rockhole).
This is my country from my mother and grandmother.
