"This is a beautiful baby bird. Its wings are stretched wide because it is about to fly with its mother. Its mother will show it all over the country, show it how beautiful it is and where to find all the food."

This is a soft sculpture made with recycled woollen blankets. The blankets are dyed using local Arrernte plants and rusty bits of metal. The blankets are then used as the base material for the sculpture.
