"Where I live, there are lots of birds, some with green and yellow colours. Those birds talk lots to me, they make noises, they sing, they fill up the air. I like to sew birds."

This is a soft sculpture made with recycled woollen blankets. The blankets are dyed using local Arrernte plants and rusty bits of metal. The blankets are then used as the base material for the sculpture.
