"This pretty bird, has some colours from the desert. Orange just like the ground around here, like the sand."

This is a soft sculpture made with recycled woollen blankets. The blankets are dyed using local Arrernte plants and rusty bits of metal. The blankets are then used as the base material for the sculpture.
