Born at Neutral Junction Station in Barrow Creek, Central Australia, Amy’s mother is from Alywarre country and her father from Kaytetye country.
Amy has undertaken tertiary level studies in Visual Art and Contemporary Craft at Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Education.
Before painting with Tangentyere Artists, Amy sold her work through Batchelor Institute and to roadhouses along the Stuart Highway.
Depicting subject matter ranging from bush foods/medicine to urban and landscape scenes, Amy's work is executed in a whimsical, abstract style, often distinguished by its dry brush application and animated line work..
