Woman’s Ceremony

Annie was born at Alcoota Station and now lives on an outstation near Mulga Bore, several hundred kilometres north-east of Alice Springs.

The artist lives a traditional lifestyle of hunting and gathering, while using the services of the nearby community.

A long time painter, Annie has mostly sold her works through outlets in Alice Springs, but exhibited interstate in 2008.

Annie’s work is dynamic in its application, use of colour, and always incorporates stories about traditional law and culture..
