Johnine Echo lives in Turkey Creek with her small child Ashanti.

Johnine works at the Sports & Recreation Centre and at Argyle Diamond Mine.

Echo has two sisters, Carmel and Julieanne, and two brothers, Alec and Billy.

Johnine went to school in Esperance with her sister Carmel and some other Turkey Creek girls from 1999 to 2003.

Johnine paints her grandmother's (Mary THOMAS) country, Chinaman's Garden near Springvale Station.

She also paints country from her grandfather, Paddy THOMAS, which is Mabel Downs Station.

Her father's country is Bedford Downs Station.

Johnine Echo is also a keen and talented photographer who was involved in the exhibition 'Snaps from Turkey Creek' at Citylights in the Melbourne CBD in 2006.

Echo would like to get more time to paint in the future when her child gets older.
