"My mother taught me to sew. She kept going to the art room and then I went. She showed me her sewing and now I sew. I enjoy sewing, and it’s good to spend time in the art room. You think about different things instead of worrying."
This is a soft sculpture made with recycled woollen blankets. The blankets are dyed using local Arrernte plants and rusty bits of metal. The blankets are then used as the base material for the sculpture.
