This is Kuru Ala, a sacred place for the Kungkarrakalpa (Seven Sisters’ story). Kangkuru munu Malanypa nyinanyi (the older sister is sitting with her younger sister). They are sitting near the cave where they lived in. One man, wati Nyiiru, was watching all the young girls. He was trying to get one of the sisters to be his wife, but they did not want that old man. The sisters were going into Kuru Ala when they saw a quandong tree and they all rushed in for the quandongs. "This isn’t really quandongs," they said after tasting them. "It must be that wati Nyiiru trying to trick us." They then ran into the cave and hid from him. Nyiiru was a ngankari (magician) and he turned himself into many things, travelling above the ground and below it as he chased after the women.

This is Wingu Tingima’s country which tells the Kungkarrakalpa Tjukurpa (Seven Sisters Dreamtime). The sisters were digging for kuniya (python) but that kuniya went in a really deep hole. A man named Nyiiru was hiding and trying to get the eldest sister to be his wife.
