This work depicts the bush raisins growing in the artist’s home country of Alkipi, North West of Papunya. The semi circular forms describe the Puli or mountains and the myriad dot forms the bush raisings that grow in profusion.
The bush raisins grow wild during December and January following the seasonal rains.
Under tribal law the bush raisin is the Tjukurrpa or Personal Law of the artist and is therefore her story.
