This loading truck belongs to the Utopia community. It brings mail, food, from Alice Springs.
Dan normally pays a little for a ride to Alice Springs. It is similar to a bush bus and he would sit on the bench seat in the back. It is a bumpy ride and the bus would stop along the way for a break. The driver is like family to Dan. Dan would get off at shops or Tangentyere.
Sometimes that truck is a school bus, giving lifts around the community. Dogs get picked up every now and then. No cattle or horses. Dan has been catching the same truck for a long time now and would go home every time he gets a chance.
