This work is a collaboration between Narputta and her two daughters, Molly JUGADAI and Cynthia MULTA. On the top section of the painting we see the hand of Cynthia, the middle section is that of Narputta’s and the bottom section is the hand of Molly.
This work depicts Lake MacDonald (Kaarkurutintya), a large salt lake on the Western Australian border and the home country of Narputta. Surrounding the lake is the puli (rocky hills) and tali (sand hills) stretching away in all directions. A harsh but beautiful landscape which holds many important tjukurrpa stories which Narputta maintains through her work.
