Narrabri Nakamarra is a daughter of the well known Papunya Tula painter Makinti Napanangka.
She was born Haasts Bluff in approximately 1950, and lived there for sometime before moving with her family to the Papunya Community.
Narrabri later moved to Kintore where she lives with her husband Hilary Tjapaltjarri, their two daughters and five grandchildren.
She completed her first paintings for Papunya Tula Artists at Kintore 1999.
