The eagle has good eyes for seeing everywhere and big wings for flying all around. Dulcie sometimes imagines that if she were a bird, she would want to be like an eagle.

"If you listen at night, you might hear an owl. You can also sometimes hear the drunks and fighting. If I’m lying there listening I might get up and tell those drunks to go away, but if it’s an owl, then I can just lie there and keep listening."
This is a soft sculpture made with recycled woollen blankets. The blankets are dyed using local Arrernte plants and rusty bits of metal. The blankets are then used as the base material for the sculpture.
